Bangladesh Students' Union (BSU) was instituted in 1952.This organization is one of the leading student’s organizations in Bangladesh. It is working for students and youth right as a secular and progressive student’s organization in Bangladesh as well as all over the world as the member of several international students and youth organization. Bangladesh Students` Union (BSU) is working as the most conscious, advanced and struggling progressive representative of the students of Bangladesh, independent, unique, democratic, pluralistic, non-profit, non-governmental, non-partisan student organization which would embrace, represent and defend the interests of students and their rights.

This organization is fighting against racial oppression, communal, imperialist conspiracy and neo-colonic oppression from its birth. Since its birth this organization is fighting to establish a mass oriented, scientific, secular education policy in Bangladesh. This organization always raised their voice against the commercialization of education. With a view to establish a stable society it is conducting an un-compromised struggle.

In Bangladesh students organizations are directly involve with political parties except Bangladesh Students Union (BSU). The political parties motivate student organizations. They are using students as an instrument to go to the power. Bangladesh Students Union is different from any other student organizations in Bangladesh. BSU is moving towards as a free and secular student organization. Mainly BSU is working with student related issues.

BSU aims to promote unity among progressive, anti-imperialist and other students and youth organizations of the world for peace, international solidarity, people based development and other students and youth related issues.

As a part of  part of  it’s struggle and fight Bangladesh Students Union declared its 33rd National Conference and council at October 25, 26, 27 this year.This conference program will be held on the footstep of `Aparajeyo Bangla' of Dhaka University. Leaders and activists of BSU from different part of Bangladesh will join this conference. Presence of representatives of your organization in this occasion will inspire us. We would like you to inform us by the 20^th October about your intention to participate. If it is not possible to join us, you can send us a solidarity message from your organization in this occasion by 22nd October.
