European meeting of education ministers (19 - 20/03/2009)

There  is a European meeting of education ministers scheduled for March 2009 in Brussels.

Attac is currently considering to call for a demonstration. For more details click here.

If groups or individuals are interested in arranging some protests on an international level during that meeting then feel welcome to use this thread.

Nous sommes un groupe de Lyonnais (Lyon 2 , IEP) a vouloir creer une action a lyon pour la semaine du 20.

Dans quelle stucture etes vous ? Nous sommes du comité de mobilisation de Lyon 1,2,3 et IEP et nous voulions creer un support presse pour lancer une campagne de communiquer de presse a la fin de la semaine . Nous avons pensé qu'il serai intelligent de creer un support commun pour tout les universités, iufm, iep ...

Seriez vous interressé par ce projet qui aurai plus d'impact que des communiqués basiques

Hallo, can someone tell me the dates of the meeting you are talking about?I thought the Ministerial conference in Leuven and Louvain-la-Neuve was in April... There are two meetings.

One is apparently in March: http://www.ser.nl/en/Publications/Workprogramme2009.aspx#02 (EU spring summit in Brussels 18 - 20 March, as far as I know)

Various groups including attac are preparing protests and events in Brussels during that time.

The next Ministerial meeting focussing exclusively on the Bologna process is planned for April: http://www.ond.vlaanderen.be/hogeronderwijs/bologna/conference/
