invitation to the next web meeting (April 12)

Hola there,

the next chat will be especially called for to discuss details regarding the "counter-summit", demonstrations and accomodation opportunities in Brussels/Louvain at the end of April.

It will take place on sunday (12/04) at 5pm GMT (6pm in the UK & 7pm CET)!

Here is the proposal for an agenda:

  • TOP 1: Follow-up on accomodation opportunities in Louvain.
  • TOP 2: Location for the Counter-summit. How many people will we be?
  • TOP 3: Demonstration in Louvain 28th of april. Do we need a pre-structured
route or should this be planned during the counter-summit?
  • TOP 4: International block on the FEF-led Demo in Brussels. What kind of materials do we need/can we supply?? How to make sure that the demo gets an international touch!?!
  • TOP 5: Evaluation-meeting in Louvain in the evening after the Demo in
Brussels. Follow-up on the whole Counter-summit, perhaps also the GWA,
and the maybe we should also try to figure out suggestions on how to
    continue our coordinated struggle!
(personally I feel this is one of the most important tasks!)

International Chat!

Hello everyone,

on behalf of Reclaim your Education-Denmark, hosting the coming Chat on Sunday the 5 th, I am hereby announcing our view on the Agenda for the meeting.
We are suggesting that the the chat be framed in two parts! The first one from 5pm-7pm CET (3pm - 5pm GMT) could entail discussions about the different international activities, and then then the chat from 7pm onwards should focus more narrowly on the coordinated activities to take place in Belgium.

So in the first half of the chat we suggest the agenda as Follows.

  • TOP1: General introduction and info of the recent development
  • TOP2: Live-Communication and greetings of solidarity during the global week of action
  • TOP4: A.O.B.-any other business.

From 7 pm onwards we propose the following agenda.

Anything else?
Please leave a note for corrections, recommendations etc.

Hope to hear from you all Sunday.

Unite Worldwide!

WHO IS COMING TO LOUVAIN..

hi all,

certainly we will have more infos tonight after the international chat but still, i wanted to make a small statement about "national delegations" participating to the counter-summit of louvain.

for the moment, as centralized on "vague européenne" website, here's a summary of who seems to be confirming to be there:

(http://www.vagueeuropeenne.fr/spip.php?article114 in french, because the english page http://www.vagueeuropeenne.fr/spip.php?article117 is not updated yet )

from Denmark: 2 buses,

from Spain: madrid and barcelona are getting organized together,

from France: 2 buses from paris (1 from "the Sorbonne", 1 from Nanterre); 1 or two buses from lyon, 1 bus from aix-en-provence and st étienne, 1 bus from bordeaux..
+ car-pooling + professor and researcher delegations.

any news from Germany or Italy or Belgium or England or any other european country sending "delegations"?

please send all your infos to:

travel [a] louvain2009.com,

contact [a] louvain2009.com,

loic.sud.gsi [a] gmail.com,

so we can have that list progressively filling up and the early feeling that louvain is already a true international counter-meeting.

see you in louvain !!
