Dear friends of free education!
Greetings of Solidarity from Heidelberg, Germany.

Because of the "International Day for free Education" students fixed
a poster to the Heidelberg Castle. Our message "Gegen den Ausverkauf
der Bildung" means 
"Against the sell out  of education". We want to show  our fight
against the proceeding commercialisation of education. Study fees, the
Bologna Process  and  the lack of democratic structures in universities
have changed the view of education of many students and set the idea of
education as a ware.
We fight this change of mind here in Heidelberg and want to show to
students worldwide that there are people fighting for the same ideas
like them in Heidelberg. That's why  they chose Heidelberg Castle
because it is a worldwide known monument.  
Keep on fighting for free education, be sure of our solidarity! We
waould also like to express our solidarity to the columbian student who
lost her eye due to police repression.
