"International Student Movement"

Hey Bart!

The International Students Movement is not an organization.
This was initiated by individual activists from various countries.

No organization or group stands behind this.

We
are students who have been struggling against the Commercialization of
Education and for Free and Emancipating education for years in "our"
city or country. We realized that there are thousands of movements
around the world struggling against the same forces.
So we started to work on bringing the movements together.

This website and Nov. 5th are different ways of getting organized and united internationally.

The
ISM is no formal body. But we hope that with many activists around the
world getting involved each local group will be strengthened.

All these groups around the world fighting for Free and Emancipating education are very powerful, if they unite
