The National Campaign Against Fees and Cuts was founded at the "National Convention Against Fees and Cuts" in February 2010.

The aim is to help local campaigns co-ordinate a national fight against education cuts, in solidarity with education and other workers, and to help the different campaigns share ideas, experience, and discuss the way forward.

The Convention is open to anyone who wants to help the campaign against fees and cuts, whether they are official representatives of a students’ union or just individual students or workers.

Regular, open planning meetings will be being held around the country where people from anti-cuts groups and unions can come and help plan and build the event.
