"International Student Movement"

The University of Reading, UK, is planning to sack two young members of staff for the sake of making cost-savings, whilst trying to appoint a professor in the same department. We say 'trying' because they have twice advertised the professorial post, and twice failed to find a suitable person to fill the post. So, the University's plan is to sack two young staff and keep open a post for a person who doesn't exist, by the look of things.
