"International Student Movement"

A huge alliance of various groups across the Philippines is calling for a National Day of Action for Education on July 16th. Among the groups mobilising are the League of Filipino Students (LFS), the National Union of Students of the Philippines (NUSP) and Anakbayan.

On July 16, 2010 is the National Youth Walk Out Against the Alarming Education Crisis! Thousands of Filipino youth will walk out of their classes to protest the alarming education crisis in the Philippines and all over the world. They will march the streets to register their militant opposition to the neglect of the state to the youth and their right to education. FREEZE THE TUITION FEE INCREASE! FIGHT FOR HIGHER BUDGET TO EDUCATION! EDUCATION IS A RIGHT! STRUGGLE FOR A NATIONALIST, SCIENTIFIC, MASS-ORIENTED EDUCATION!
