"Global Wave of Action for Education"

Public education continues to be massively attacked.

From the race to the top, budget cuts, privatisation, faculty and teacher layoffs and rising tuition ect. etc.

Thousands of students, faculties and communities organised, mobilised and resisted the neoliberal policies that is destroying education!

What is education to us?

Education is about unleashing ones confidence.
Education is learning from failure.

Education is growing from experience.
Education is discovering your passions and then pursuing them.

Education is not rote enumerisation.
Education is not being paralysed because you are afraid to fail.

Education is meant to build not destroy!

All the education in the world is worthless, if you never unlock what makes your heart beat.

It's about being human.
It's about connecting with humanity.

Our current education system is inherently flawed.

I know I speak for millions of students around the world when I say:
We are tired of being told we are not good enough!

We are tired of doing mindless work that only adds stress to our lives!

We are tired of feeling unworthy just because we fail to meet the expectations of the A+ poster child.

We are tired of being told who we can or cannot be!

And this was just the beginning ...

Talk is over, time for action!
