Protest in Stuttgart, Germany

In connection with the "Global Day of Action" on November 17th 2010 the following report was sent in:

In Stuttgart, Germany 40 young people met to protest for better education. we used an open mic for discussion. Topics were the special situation of migrant students, the influence of militarism and capitalistic ideology in schools and university and our aim of a united school system against the devided school system, we have today (Sonder-, Haupt-, Realschule, Gymnasium). we discussed the relation between the protests against the huge mainstation-project "Stuttgart21" and the protests for education.
We will continue our work in schools and universities and mobilize for a country-wide manifestation in January (01/29) in Stuttgart.
Organisation, who took place: youth organisations REBELL, REVOLUTION, linksjugend.solid, SDS, young struggle, YDG, Jugendoffensive gegen Stuttgart 21. Party: MLPD.
