STUDENTS AND WORKERS UNITE AGAINST CUTS AND US AUSTERITY!!
DEMANDS:
NO CUTS!! NO LAYOFFS OR FURLOUGHS!!
NO PRIVATIZATION OF PUBLIC EDUCATION!
FREE AND AFFORDABLE EDUCATION FOR ALL!
What are we fighting against?
1. turning education into a commodity as part of the commodification of all aspects of life
2. the significant and increasing influence of business interests on basic budgets for public education
3. the significant and increasing budget cuts on public education worldwide
4, the privatization of public funds through the subsidization of private educational institutions
5. the commodification and exploitation of labor within educational institutions
Join Students and Workers all over the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex in marching against the cuts to the cornerstone of society: EDUCATION!
"GLOBAL ACTION TO DEFEND PUBLIC EDUCATION"
