International Student Movement - North America
(ISM-NA)

ISM-NA is a communication platform especially for groups and activists struggling against the increasing commercialization of education and for free emancipatory education anywhere within North America. It was initiated to create an infrastructure to exchange information, network and make coordinations internationally.
All identifying with this struggle are invited to use and shape ISM-NA.

ISM-NA is independent from any political party, trade union or other organisation and is linked to ISM-Global.

Communication infrastructure (so far):

  • on facebook: group + page

  • mailing list: (subscribe)

ISM-NA needs people who want to get involved by helping to administer the platform, share news related to the struggle in parts of North America (e.g. latest protest activities and changes in policies) and get involved in the coordinations on the global level.

Among others the ISM website can be used to report about latest developments.

Contact the mailing list or if you want to get involved or have any questions/suggestions.
