::: Riot police crack down on students in Puerto Rico :::

For the 7th day students and professors have been on strike at the University of Puerto Rico to protest an additional US$800 in fees as well as (riot) police on campus. A little overview of events before the strike is available here.

Earlier today riot police attacked students on and off campus. At least 18 20 were arrested (some of them were injured), two had to be hospitalized and three are reported missing, since there has been no information on them since they were detained have been found - severely bruised.
