As my first post on here I would like to first say hello to all the fellow activists out there in Europe and America. Well done you have successfully implemented pressure on the government and leaders of your universities and begun the mobilisation of students in the name of free education, for this I congratulate you.
France: Youth is waking
Yesterday in France, a national call for strike was launched in
Education; 1/3 of teachers were in strike; and a lot of people in the
streets (8000 in Paris). The best new is the come back of youth; in all
the General Assemblies, students were many, more than they were since
the beginning of the new scholar year. The hope comes from high school
pupils who blocked and came in the demonstration in mass. A new day of action and held of GA is announced for December 3th.
On a 54th plenary session of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, held on November 17th it was concluded that the next session will be held on November 23rd (Monday) when the largest hall will be occupied for that purpose. There it will be decided if the occupation will include the rest of the building and the classes are to be disrupted entirely or alternative means of strugle for emancipating education will be discussed.
