"International Student Movement"

Global Chat Meeting - June 12th
Local Reports + International Coordinations

facebook event page

Friends and comrades,

Warm greetings from the Philippines! I am Karlos Manlupig from the League of Filipino Students (LFS)- Southern Mindanao Region.
Since the Spring of Resistance (SoR), various mobilizations, which included numerous protests that involved thousands of students, youth, teachers and professionals, were launched to express the worldwide outcry against budget cuts and the worsening of the commercialization of education as manifested for example by tuition and other fee increases (TOFI). Thus, there is an urgent need for us to reconnect and strengthen our unity, and if possible establish another CAMPAIGN in UNITY similar to the successful Spring of Resistance.

All identifying with our struggle against the increasing privatization of education and for free emancipatory education for all are invited to participate!
