For long we have been alienated by systems that claim to help them they refer to as helpless and hopeless through providing education. They have donated lots of money in an attempt to better the education situations in our lands but the funds have caused more damage than good. Education in a land you was not born is a great experience for all parties involved however when unrealistic cost come into play it damages the greater purpose. When one applies for a visa they ask for statements that need to show unrealistic amounts of money. How best can one really get that kind of money, hence the damage. Course are charged twice the amount a normal student in that area pays? in addition to that they also charge international levy? How about that? And some people feel it is bad for the enconomy of the country? I think some of these our leaders do not actually understand the ethics of leadership they act as though they have never been to school and hence they do not understand the importance of education in this dynamic world. I have heard of the term globalization what does it mean? What is global about globalization if education of all things is not global? Why should we wait for big catastrophes such as the effects of global warming for us to understand that we needed each other to survive or even work together? Education is the backbone of civilization without it civilizations cannot survive. Economic strife amongst all things has chosen education. Access to an education without prejudice is a right for anyone for everyone and for all of us. Let our leaders stop talking the walk but start walking the talk.
