International Student Movement - Asia
(ISM-Asia)

ISM-Asia is a communication platform especially for groups and activists struggling against the increasing privatisation of education and for free emancipatory education anywhere within Asia. It was initiated to create an infrastructure to exchange information, network and make coordinations internationally.
All identifying with this struggle are invited to use and shape ISM-Asia.

ISM-Asia is independent from any political party, trade union or other organisation and is linked to ISM-Global.

Communication infrastructure (so far):

  • on facebook: group + page
  • mailing list: (subscribe)

ISM-Asia needs people who want to get involved by helping to administer the platform, share news related to the struggle in parts of Asia (e.g. latest protest activities and changes in policies) and get involved in the coordinations on the global level.

Among others the ISM website can be used to report about latest developments.

Contact the mailing list or if you want to get involved or have any questions/suggestions.
